You are entering a very rich landscape that consists of so much more than needles. If you are committed to thriving and finding wellness, I am here to catalyze the process using all the modalities of Asian Medicine that I have available to me. I am committed to helping YOU reduce or eliminate your dis-ease, pain or stress, by facilitating your return to well-being in mind, body and spirit. 

When we meet you in the clinic room for treatment we will meet in an environment where:

 “everything counts, nothing is neutral”, 

“you are greater and wiser than you think”.

In charting a course to well-being we will need:

• a road map and a sense of direction, 

• some instructions on how to undertake the journey, 

• some supplies to sustain us on the journey 

• a clear sense of where we want to go, and 

• an awareness of what stands between us and our desired destination. 

Before we move on, I would like to share with you a comment I received from one of my clients, AS:

Chinese Medicine* has a heritage that spans thousands of years, is holistic* in view, in both application and in outcome. There are multiple modalities potentially available to us in your treatment, and at different times some will be more appropriate than others. Like the surface of the ocean then, waves will rise and fall according to the winds of inquiry that will move us in different directions as we address questions of navigation concerning your journey towards wellness.

*I believe that Chinese Medicine is both dynamic and evolving. For me, learning is a life-long pursuit and what I learned in school has been enriched by my clinical practice and also by the teachers to whom I have been exposed since I graduated. What was understood in a pre-industrial, agrarian age, may not always be applicable in the post-industrial, technology-driven, environmentally-challenged world as it is today. Consequently, new insights and ongoing research reveal aspects of the medicine that were not known or discussed by the ancients. The ancient wisdom is not, however, to be discarded, but is to be integrated with the modern. As a function of my thirst for learning, therefore. I use the word 'holistic' in two ways: It is not sufficient that the medicine take a holistic view of each person seeking to be treated by the modalities available to us, because, to me, the word 'holistic' also implies an embracing view of the medicine evolving and growing over time.
